Seventeen New Sets

Seventeen named sets have found their way into the realm. Nine drawn from the elements, four for where a hero stands between the lantern and the dark, and four stranger things. Here they all are.

Painting Two Hundred Icons

Two hundred and four painted icons have replaced the old tinted silhouettes. Your bag now tells you what something is made of, how good it is, and whether it belongs with the rest of your kit.

Every Hero Needs Rest

Your hero now carries a reserve of energy, spent on roads walked, words exchanged and blows struck, and refilled by the clock on your wall rather than the sun over Aethermoor.

Turn-Based Combat Has Arrived

Enemies in the world can now be fought properly, round by round. Victory brings experience, gold and loot. Defeat sends you reeling — it does not end your story.

Meet Grim, Keeper of the Rusty Tankard

A creaking door, a dim tavern, and a barkeep who has heard every lie told in Ashfall at least twice. Grim does not trust easily, he remembers everything, and both of those are your problem.

Skills & Masteries: A First Look

The next thing on the roadmap: abilities that come from who your hero is, and masteries that grow because of what they keep doing. Nothing here is built yet — these are the notes.

Time Never Stops in Aethermoor

Storms roll in over the Ashfall docks whether you are there to see them or not. Six hours turn over in the realm, and each shows a different room behind the same door.

Your Hero Now Carries a Legacy

Equipment and inventory are live: nine slots to fill, loot worth carrying home, and a straight answer to the only question that matters when you pick something up.

The Roads Between Ashfall

Not every path is safe, and not every path is short. A field note on what it costs to get from one place in the realm to another, and on the ways that do not appear on any map.
